Deluxe, limited edition pressing of 500 LPs, all pressed on 200 gram vinyl. The first 100 copies have been reserved for Important mailorder and are letterpress printed copper on black. The remaining 400 copies are silver on black.  The letterpress design is a dedicated homage to Charlemagne Palestine.

Eleh was formed to specifically to pay tribute to early experimental minimalist pioneers especially La Monte Young, Terry Riley, Eliane Radigue, Pauline Oliveros and Charlemagne Palestine.

Eleh's Floating Frequencies/Intuitive Synthesis Volume II requires dedicated and careful listening. High volume and/or headphone use is highly recomended for maximum experience - especially on the B side, which is focused on ultra low end bass pulses being slowly modulated by bass frequencies well below the level of human hearing. Side A is a detailed account of the emerging frequencies resulting from the carefully crafted meeting of 7 sine waves. It is also highly recommended that stereo listeners are seated at least 7 feet away from their speakers, centered, with ears at speaker height.

REVIEWS

"Anyone lucky enough to have caught the first volume in the Floating Frequencies/Intuitive Synthesis series will know precisely what to expect from this release: Pure tone. Pure sound. Pure analog. Dedicated to Charlemagne Palestine.

"That's as strong a summary of this LP as you could hope for. Pressed on 200 gram audiophile vinyl with the utmost care and attention, the music of Eleh delves into the primordial analog drones you'd associate with the great pioneers of minimalist electronic synthesis (Charlemagne Palastine, Eliane Radigue and La Monte Young would be especially pertinent comparisons). Three lengthy pieces are spread across the LP's impeccably pressed sides, each exploring low end tonality with an astonishing level of warmth and harmonic richness. Of course, this isn't really music in any traditional sense, but rather an exquisite exercise in sound engineering, albeit an insanely mesmerising one. You might wonder what sort of long-term side-effects these frequencies are likely to have on your constitution - there's certainly something almost unprecedentedly physical about this record - it's something you can really feel - and inevitably the samples on the site can't do this monolithic LP justice. Pretty much essential for all you far-out drone connoisseurs." ~ Boomkat
